Description:
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is recruiting one, full-time postdoctoral
researcher. The technical areas of primary interest for this position are in wireless communications and
signal processing.
Successful candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
and are expected to participate in a research program under the supervision of Professor Dinesh Rajan.
Interested and qualified individuals should submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, and a list of three

The position is available immediately and applications will be reviewed until the position is filled. The initial
appointment is for one year with a possible extension for an additional year.
Minimum qualifications: completed requirements for a doctoral or other terminal degree in Electrical
Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering field by the time of joining; Must have experience in
signal processing and wireless communications. Additionally, exposure to information theory will be
beneficial; Highly motivated to pursue research and publish high quality papers; Candidate must have
excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide
range of constituencies.
